What Hundred Summers is — and is not
Hundred Summers is an educational tool. It helps you understand your own finances using figures and assumptions you provide, and to test scenarios about your future. Hundred Summers does not provide financial advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Projections are illustrations, not predictions or guarantees. For advice tailored to your circumstances, consult an FCA-regulated financial adviser.
Your responsibility
The results depend entirely on the figures and assumptions you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy and for any decisions you make. Do not rely on Hundred Summers as the sole basis for financial decisions.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure. You must be at least 18 to use Hundred Summers.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Hundred Summers Premium is a monthly subscription billed by Stripe at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time using Manage subscription in the profile menu, which opens your secure Stripe billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further payments are taken. Premium includes the AI Copilot with a fair-use monthly processing allowance that resets on the 1st of each month. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription. Statutory rights are unaffected.
The Adviser plan
The Adviser plan is a monthly per-adviser subscription for financial professionals. It includes everything in Premium plus the adviser portal, which lets clients share their plans with you end-to-end encrypted. Adviser accounts must only use client plans with the client's knowledge and consent, and remain responsible for their own regulatory obligations — Hundred Summers is an educational tool and using it does not make any output regulated advice. Plans shared with you are decrypted only on your device; keep that device secure as you would client files. If your subscription ends, clients' shares stop being accessible through the portal. The Adviser plan also includes access to the projection API, a proof of concept, with a key on request; the terms on hundredsummers.co.uk/api.html apply to it, and the key is withdrawn if the subscription ends.
Intellectual property
Hundred Summers, including its software, design, calculations and content, is our copyright. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or re-host the software or any substantial part of it.
Availability and liability
Hundred Summers is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the tool is error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the tool. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms and the tool itself; material changes will be signposted in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
