Here you see each savings and investment account, its growth assumption, and its tax wrapper — ISA, GIA (taxable), or cash. The wrapper matters: ISAs are tax-free, GIAs attract Capital Gains Tax on disposal.
This tab shows each of your savings and investment accounts and how they're projected to grow. To add your own, go to the Your Facts tab and open Assets and Debt. For each account, enter its name, its current value, and choose an asset class — cash, bonds, a mixed fund, or equities. Choosing the asset class automatically fills in a sensible growth rate, which you can adjust. You also set the tax wrapper: an ISA, which is tax-free; a general investment account, which may attract capital gains tax; or plain cash. Finally, set how quickly you can access the money — this decides the order accounts are drawn down in retirement, with the easiest-access money used first.
