Hundred Summers
App guide · chapter 6 of 18

🏡 Property

Property tracks your home and any other property alongside their mortgages, reading the loan details straight from your liabilities so nothing is entered twice.

What the walkthrough covers

The Property tab shows your home and any other property you own, along with their mortgages and how their value changes over time. To add a property, go to Your Facts, open Assets and Debt, and enter the property's value and expected growth rate. To add its mortgage, add a liability of type mortgage, enter the balance, interest rate, and monthly payment, and link it to the property. You also choose whether the mortgage is repayment, where the balance reduces over time, or interest-only, where the balance stays level. Your equity is simply the property's value minus the outstanding mortgage, and the chart shows it building as the loan is paid down.

Tip: Enter properties and their mortgages in Your Facts → Assets & Debt.
