Hundred Summers
App guide · chapter 11 of 18

👥 Couples

Couples combines two profiles into one joint picture: shared net worth, joint retirement readiness, and a survivor check — while each person is still taxed correctly as an individual.

What the walkthrough covers

The Couples tab brings two profiles together into one household picture. Create a profile for each partner, select the two of you, and it combines your net worth, income and spending into a joint view — while still calculating each person's tax, pensions and allowances individually, which is how UK tax actually works. It answers the joint questions a single plan can't: does our combined money last, what happens to the survivor if one of us dies first, and how do our State Pensions and retirement ages interact? It even runs a joint stress test, putting both plans through the same simulated markets at the same time to see how often the household's money lasts.

Tip: Create a profile for each partner first, then select both on this tab.
